I am Shri Amol Ashok Hibare, a close member of the Bhavsar community. Originally hailing from Solapur, I consider myself fortunate to be born into a family where a tradition of social service was deeply ingrained long before my birth. In our adherence to various religious customs, the concept of 'gotra' is often discussed. However, under the customs we follow, any changes in 'gotra' do not hold significance. My grandfather, Shri Manoharrao Omajirao Hibare, authored the book 'Gotavala' with the intention of simplifying the process for every Bhavsar relative to identify their 'gotra' based on the names within the community. While it may not be a religious text, it is a revered book that should find a place in every Bhavsar household.

Continuing the tradition of this community service and recognizing the concerns of parents in their efforts to arrange marriages for their children in the future, I initiated the very first WhatsApp group named 'Bhavsar Reshimbandh' in 2012.

As we contemplated this devotional song, the reach expanded beyond Maharashtra, encompassing states such as Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Gujarat, and Rajasthan.
It even embraced young men and women pursuing education abroad. This group evolved into a pivotal platform, and from its modest origins, it has grown to such an extent that today, there are over twenty dedicated WhatsApp groups for Bhavsar marriages

In the past, marriages were confined to a radius of merely twenty to twenty-two kilometers. Nowadays, matches are made across distances of fifty kilometers or more, with the aim of finding compatible partners. What's significant is that individuals have saved time and avoided unnecessary expenses, thereby alleviating the stress of arranging marriages.
Mr. Bhagat Singh Koshyari, the Governor of Maharashtra, expressed his appreciation for my dedication to social service and personally recognized my efforts by gifting a shawl and a shreephal. This gesture brought my family closer. The Bhavsar community also consistently recognized my contributions and showed their respect.

I provide this service to the society, while juggling my responsibilities at home and my job, free of cost. Throughout this journey, I've faced various challenges, but it's the trust of the community and my unwavering dedication to social service that have empowered me to overcome each obstacle.
